Our guide told us that J.S Siren designed all Parliament House and he made everything in the house by his own hands, even chairs. At this time they didn't use different kind of machines to build Parliament House. It took a long time to build Parliament House.
Can you believe it, Siren designed this lamp also himself to the Parliament House. |
What do I think about our guide?
- First she started to speak so monotone. It feels like she is reading a book or she is herself some kind of book. I think first her voice was a little bit tight, but when she spoke more, it become more softer, but it was anyway very polite and official.
- Her eyecontact was good, but sometimes I felt she looked at me too long. She also made a good questions about politic. Those were easy ones, but I was too unsure to answer them. For example who is the Speaker of Parliament.
- I think she knew what she is talking about. She told a lot about politic, history etc. and she answered our questions without thinking too long an answer. Maybe she had work in Parliament more than ten years that she can speak a lot without even thinking what she is talking about.
- Her clothes were very official too. A black dress and heels. She looked like that she belongs there.
I think that here was the best part of guiding. I felt guide is more close to us and it seems like she is more relax in the end of the guiding. She told a lot interesthing information for example where the political parties are sitting and how many members is in every party.
How do I feel after guiding?
- Actually I wanted to see more than same places than before I was there.
- There was many thing I had forget and now I remember better those things.
- Visiting remainds me from municipal election where I was nominated in Kirkkonummi
