Kisakallio

We went to the Kisakallio with minibus and we practised how to use a microfone at the transfer. All of us spoke almost 10 minutes or actually not everybody, but that was a purpose. :) Next month we will guide people from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to the Kisakallio. That's why we needed to practise this all.

We practiced in two parts. Five of us when we went to the Lohja and the rest of us when we came back to the school. I spoke first when we came back to the school. I think it went good, I just spoke spoke and spoke. I felt I just could not stop speaking, but it was only good that I had something to say. It was a very nice experience.

I spoke about politic and finnish independence day. First a little bit about presidentes, then how we celebrate independence day in Finland. After it I told about my own experiences about politic. Why this topic then? Actually first I tought only speak about inpendence day, but then I realized it is so much easier to speak from my own experiences. The speech becomes more natural when you have something to say about.

In Kisakallio we got more information about our trasfer guiding. One of the teachers showed places to us. Maybe we can tell a little bit about Kisakallio in the bus, maybe? Actually, I don't know yet what to talk about to the customers. My topic could be Christmas, Santa Claus, Helsinki or Lohja, Finnish people, sauna, finnish food, Lapland...etc.

Anyway we decided to work in pairs and I think it's a good idea, because it's almost everybodys first time and we will speak everything in english or with foreign language.
